If a doctor was to tell you that you have 20/20 vision, then he is basically implying that you have the closest kind of eyesight to seeing humanly perfect. It is extremely rare for anyone to have eyesight better than 20/20 vision.
The great thing about your eyes is that it does not matter what kind of problem they have. Believe it or not, but eyes have the ability to retain or heal themselves so that you can see perfectly. Perfect vision is really the natural state of your eyes. There is no limit to how much you can improve your vision, even going so far as beyond the 20/20 state. Everyone's vision is based on an eye chart.
The average foot line that someone can see from is 10 feet. The only difference between the average eyesight and 20/20 vision eyesight is that they can see 20 feet away instead of 10 feet away. If you have 20/20 vision, it is also called "telescope vision." There are really nine types of vision besides 20/20 vision. These include: myopia, which is near-sightedness; hyperopia, also known as far-sightedness; presbyopia, which is middle-age sight/reading glasses; astigmatism, or poor night vision; strabismus, commonly known as cross-eyed; amblyopia, which is a lazy eye; photo sensitivity, or sensitivity to light; photo phobia, or fear of the light; and eyestrain, which causes headaches and burning eyes. You can fix or cure all of these possible problems just by doing eye exercises for 15 minutes a day, until you feel your eyes start to get better. This can help you have 20/20 vision without getting corrective eye surgeries. These eye exercises will show signs of improvements in just a matter of weeks.
The problem is that 20/20 vision is a term that nobody really understands or knows about. Your eyes can, with hard work and determination, actually become better than 20/20.
